(JANUARY 7, 2019) This afternoon the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kyle Adkins, 31, of Wayne, W.VA. for a 2nd time in 10 days for felony drug charges.
Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Kyle today during a traffic stop. When a member of the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit removed a handgun from Kyle’s pocket a baggie containing a distribution quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine came out as well. Marijuana and digital scales were also seized from Kyle.
Today’s charges – Two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver charges, Conspiracy to Distribute 5 to 50 grams of Methamphetamine, and Pseudoephedrine Altered
Sheriff Thompson stated that Kyle was arrested December 27th on felony drug charges by deputies after responding to a brandishing complaint at Walmart.
K-9 ‘Nitro’ aids in ANOTHER DRUG ARREST
Yesterday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Allen Flemings, (no age given) of Crum, for felony drug charges after he was stopped and found to be in possession of a large quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine. Sheriff Thompson stated that the department K9 ‘Nitro’ was used during the stop.
Sheriff Thompson stated he wanted to thank everyone again to all those who contributed to the Wayne County Sheriff’s K-9 fund.
