Lawrence County voting polls are open to in person voting today June 23, 2020 until 6 p.m. at the following locations only: The Lawrence County High School, Fallsburg School, Blaine School and at the Emmanuel Church on 23 near Meades Branch.
If you had requested an absentee ballot but didn’t mail it in, you have to go to the clerk’s office and have it removed, before voting in person.
There have been 293 voters at the Lawrence County High School to vote at 12:30 so far.
I was very surprised and disappointed that not a single poll worker at LCHS wore a mask when I went to vote. The whole purpose of changing the voting procedures was to slow the potential spread of the virus but the poll workers apparently didn’t take that risk too seriously and all of them are in the high risk categories…
they are just following the orange clown
KAG. All you do is post negative and racist comments. Grow up.
That’s what she does best!
That’s not for you to decide now is it? You take care of yourself. Cowardly move coming on here to comment but I’m sure you didn’t ask them about it to their face. Dramatic much?
How do people take care of themselves when others around them don’t care to expose them? I DID wear a mask and use sanitizer after going in. I have too many elderly people that I have contact with. My absentee ballot was not received but I felt I needed to vote …. because of people like you.
What about the social distancing, masks and gloves? Hmmmm….my children still won’t attend school. If people don’t follow the guidelines what will happen next….Mooooooo.
