COACH’S COMMENTS
“… The girls left everything out on the court. So many times we have gotten to the fifth set only to come up short. Tonight was completely different; and to do it on senior night makes it that much more special. This is an extraordinary group of young ladies. No LCHS volleyball team has ever had 10 wins nor has any LCHS team ever had 2 district wins. District tournament seeding is out of our hands with everything riding on tomorrow night’s Betsy Layne vs. Prestonsburg game.”
“… Polly Fannin has grown so much in her first and only year of volleyball. She has a lot of heart and desire to learn the game, which has been fun to watch.”
“… Harmannie Lemaster has such a sweet demeanor and will never be out hustled. Every day, she works to get better.”
“… Kaylee Ison has come into a leadership role as one of our setters. She has been a consistent server for us and has developed her setting skills in such a short amount of time.”
“… Ellan Sparks, one of our captains, always takes responsibility and asks what she can do to be better. She is a mature leader with a lot of heart and love for this game.”
“… Lexie Workman, another captain, is a versatile leader that does it all. She is a competitor who is willing to do whatever it takes to win.”
“… All of these Seniors have been an essential part in the success of our program this year. Fortunately, we have a lot more business to take care of before I have to say goodbye to them!”
