Virgie Gene Pack, age 85 of Paintsville, KY passed away on March 21, 2026.
She was born at Charley, KY on April 16, 1940 to the late McAdoo Pack and Louise Thompson Pack.
Virgie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a Christian and loved to read her Bible. She was a friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Russell Pack and Otto Pack; son in law Glen Jr. Daniels; grandson in law Tony Curtis Cole II; brother in law Harry Ruff; nephews Richard Lee Boling and David Douglas Boling; and great niece Cynthia Lynn Boling.
She is survived by her daughter Pearlene Sue Daniels of Paintsville, KY; grandchildren Amanda Sue Cole and Sherry Ann Castle of Louisa, KY; great grandchildren Desiree LaRee Cole and Tony Curtis Cole III of Louisa, KY, Gavin Glen Castle of South Carolina, and Sylas Matthew Kise of Paintsville, KY; sister Roberta Ruff of Louisa, KY; brother Leeroy (Fannie) Pack of Louisa, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Pack – Daniels Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family beginning Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM until time of service Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
