Operation UNITE is seeking individuals to fill the following job positions for a Treatment Call Center. The Treatment Call Center will be located at the Big Sandy Area Development District in Prestonsburg, KY. Operation UNITE is a nonprofit organization that works on solutions to the substance use disorder (SUD) problem in a 32-county region of southern and eastern Kentucky. Office Supervisor – Will be required to supervise a staff of six people, answer phone calls from persons needing information or referrals sources for SUD services in KY, complete treatment assessments for persons with a SUD, make appointments, assist with referrals, attend meetings in KY as needed, compile monthly reports, possess ability to attend meetings in the state of KY, and other duties. Must have one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Registered Nurse with training or experience in behavioral health; Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor; or any other licensee in a behavioral health field. Must have working knowledge of MS Word & Excel and possess good communications skills.
Screening and Referral Specialists – There are three positions available. Responsibilities include: Answering phone calls from persons seeking information about, or referral sources for, SUD services in KY, complete treatment assessments for persons with SUD, assist with referrals, do monthly reports and other duties. Must have one of the following: Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor; Licensed Practical Nurse; Licensed Registered Nurse; social worker possessing a bachelor degree; or bachelor degree in a human services-related field. Must have computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word & Excel and possess good communication skills.
Outreach Specialist – Will be required to provide follow-up to individuals receiving information and treatment referral services, complete monthly reports, and other duties for the Treatment Call Center. Must have one of the following: Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor; Licensed Practical Nurse; Licensed Registered Nurse; licensed Peer Support Specialist; or bachelor degree in a human services-related field. Must have computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word & Excel and possess good communication skills.
Administrative Assistant – Will be required to perform duties that include general office duties that include, but are not limited to, the following: answering the phone; filing and scanning documents; operating copier and fax machine; working knowledge of MS Word & Excel and possess good communication skills. Must have one of the following: Associate degree from a college or university in accounting, management, or other related field; 2 years experience in financial, budgetary, or programmatic work experience in federal or state programs; and knowledge of modern office terminology, practices and procedures, business English, spelling, grammar and math. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a human services-related office.
