Berea, Ky. — Two Louisa middle school football players shined in the Kentucky All-Star games played at Madison Southern High School recently.

8th Grader Channing Kitts was named the West defensive MVP in his team’s 14-12 victory. Kitts picked off a pass to secure the victory late in the contest.

7th Grader Micheal Artrip was outstanding quarterbacking his East team to a 24-6 victory. He ran for one touchdown, passed for one and had over 150 yards of total offense in the victory.

The Middle school Dawgs made it to the second round of the playoffs this past season.
