Fort Gay, W. Va. — In the opening round of the Tri-State youth league football playoffs Tolsia won three out of four games on Saturday.
Tolsia 18 Vinson 6 ( D team )
The Rebels beat the Tigers at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Tate Waller had two rushing touchdowns on from 55 yards out and one from 30 yards out.
Kolt Ratcliffe added a 40 touchdown to seal the victory.
The Rebels advance to the quarterfinals to play at #1 seed Ona-Milton on Saturday October 21st.
Tolsia 44 Buffalo-Putnam 0 ( C team )
The Rebels shutout the Bison at Wilts Salmons Athletic Complex on Saturday.
Debo Black scored three touchdowns on the ground a 48 yarder, a 65 yarder and a 53 yarder.
Jaxon Parsley caught a 37 yard touchdown from Black.
Jace Bowens had a 39 yard touchdown on the ground and
Tate Marcum scored from 4 yards out.
The Rebels will advance to play at #2 seed Douglas-Cammack on Saturday October 21st.
Buffalo-Wayne 14 Tolsia 12 ( B team )
The Rebels lost a heartbreaker in overtime on the road at Buffalo.
First drive of the game James Marcum went 45 yards for a touchdown to give Tolsia a 6-0 lead.
The Bison tied it up 6-6 late in the fourth quarter.
In overtime AJ Jordan scored on a 1 yard touchdown on fourth down to give the Rebels a 12-6 lead.
Buffalo scored to tie the game up and won it on a two point conversion 14-12.

The Rebels made quick work of the Panthers on Saturday at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium.
Eli Fitch had one rushing touchdown, one passing touchdown and 1 two point conversion run.
Mason Stumbo had one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.
On defense Brayden Evans returned an interception for a touchdown.
Jamison Evans had one rushing touchdown.
Aiden Messer had 4 two point conversions and caught two passes.
The Rebels will advance to face #1 seed Buffalo-Wayne at Ona-Milton on Saturday October 21st.
