Tolsia Youth Football League sweeps Gilbert in final regular season games; PLAYOFFS BEGIN THIS WEEKEND

Glenhayes, W. Va. — Tolsia Youth Football league closed out the regular season with a clean sweep of Gilbert on Sunday at Wilts Salmons Athletic Field.

Tolsia 30 Gilbert 14 ( B Team ) 

In the first game of the afternoon the Rebels remained perfect at 8-0 and wrapped up the #1 seed in the playoffs. 

Brennan Kirk had two touchdown runs from 24 yards and 40 yards. 

Debo Black scored from 60 yards out and 34 yards out. 

Tate Marcum had 2 two point conversion runs and Titan Hounshell had 1 two point conversion. 

Easton Barbour had touchdown runs of 50 and 46 yards for Gilbert. 

Finley New had a fumble recovery on and Jaxon Copley picked off a pass.

Tolsia 32 Gilbert 6 ( C Team ) 

The Tolsia C Team wrapped up the regular season with a perfect 8-0 record with the victory over Gilbert who fell to 3-5.

Braydon Meadows put Gilbert on the board first with a 4 yard touchdown run in the second quarter. 

It was all Tolsia after that with Tate Waller scoring four touchdowns from 62, 60, 52, and 70 yards.

Waller also had 3 two point conversions and Bryler Marcum had one.

Tolsia 44 Gilbert 0 ( A Team ) 

The Tolsia A Team improved to 5-3 on the season with the shutout victory over the Gilbert Pride who dropped to 3-5 on the season.

Brycen Adkins tossed two touchdown passes to Grant Goble for 50 yards and 38 yards respectively. Adkins also threw a two point conversion pass to Noah Crabtree.

Jayce Justice had two touchdown runs of 7 yards and 10 yards. 

Jax Marcum scooted in from 50 yards out. James Marcum had a 8 yard touchdown run. AJ Jordan had a two point conversion run.
