COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Wasn’t the prettiest of victories on Saturday but we will take it. Really struggled from the free throw line but got a great effort from Carly Johnson with 20 rebounds.

“… On Wednesday we literally had a tall task with #1 Gilmer Co. who have 6-4 twins and presented problems for us throughout the contest. They are the defending state champs and in our region.”

“… Beat Man at home who is 10-8 on the season and is getting better each week. We have played them twice and may see them in the opening round of the region tournament.”

“… Really proud of the girls for staying the course through a long season with a bunch of obstacles thrown at them. Hopefully we can keep improving and make a run during postseason.”
