Tolsia Rebels Track Team Dominates at Regionals, Gears Up for State Meet
The Tolsia Rebels Track Team delivered an electrifying performance at the Regional Championships held at Herbert Hoover High School, racking up multiple medals and proving their excellence. With standout relay teams and individual efforts, the Rebels are poised for success at the upcoming state meet.
In the 4x100m relay, the squad of Robert Evans, Greyson Golden, Lazarus Robinette, and Peyton Rice
surged to a Regional Runner-Up finish.
The 4x400m relay team, featuring Evans, Golden, Rice, and Joe Sturgell, secured another Regional Runner-Up spot.

The Rebels peaked in the 4x800m relay, where Evans, Sturgell, Golden, and Rice, backed by alternates Chase Thompson and Caleb Thompson, clinched the Regional Champion title, taking gold with a commanding display of stamina, teamwork, and superior strategy.
Individually, Peyton Rice shone brightly, earning Regional Runner-Up in the 800m with a silver-medal effort.
Carley Bryant also impressed, battling to a Regional Runner-Up finish in the 2-mile event, adding another silver to Tolsia’s tally.
Riding high on their Regional success, the Tolsia Rebels are set to compete at the State Track Meet on Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24, at the University of Charleston’s Laidley Field. With their eyes on state titles, the Rebels are ready to take on West Virginia’s finest. Go Rebels!
