Tolsia Head Coach David Thompson
“… Last time out I thought we let one slip through our fingers against Midland Trail but I really seen some good things and I could we were starting to turn the corner a little and boy did we tonight against Van. We are playing a lot of young kids and they are starting to get it a little bit. Really proud of everyone tonight.”
“… I’m so proud of our players and coaches for their effort tonight. From top to bottom it was a total team effort. We got some guys back during the bye week and some other guys stepped up as well. It was special to get the home victory in front of the Rebel faithful.”
“… We knew coming into the game that they would key on Parker Watts but Dakota Blackburn stepped up on the other side and when they tried to cover Watts with one guy you seen what he did. Him and Robert Evans have a connection going right now. We have some real weapons on offense with those three plus Bray Mollette running the football the way he does.”
“… Great atmosphere tonight. These fans deserve it, our players deserve it and the coaches deserve it as well. Like I said in the preseason I have one the best coaching staffs around and they have really put in the work and will continue to put in the work. This community is so special to all of us and they itching to get back to our winning ways.”
“… Micheal Adkins has been pivotal for this football program. What he has done and what he is doing and wants to keep doing is something special. Bought us new uniforms, brand new scoreboard, wrote a huge check last year and has done countless other things just because he wants to. It was good to see 46 points on the home side of that brand new scoreboard tonight.”
