It’s that time of year again to break out your air horns and team spirit to cheer for your team.
It will be a little different this year with the new COVID-19 guidelines to be allowed to purchase season or day tickets in advance for the upcoming games. And everyone must have temperature taken before entering the stadium.
Football will be different this year for new and experienced athletes. With the coronavirus going around leaving athletes no choice to choose between going to school with the new school plan and allowing to do sports or go to the online schooling. But it looks like the Tolsia Rebels will have plenty of players starting the season with coaches reporting more than 45 signed up.
All players this season will be required to wear face coverings and get temperatures taken before practice and games. Attendance will be limited based on the size of the facilities. Fans will still be required to maintain safe social distancing.
Assistant coach Wade Cyrus
“… So far things are looking great! We’ve had 47 players showing up for practice and all seem to be in good shape considering the situation we are all in. Lots of young guys are out and that’s always a plus. Hoping that the season gets to continue. We open up at home 9/4 against a team we haven’t faced. Midland trail. I’m sure they will be ready as we will be too.”
