COACH’S COMMENTS
“… So proud of my kids tonight, the last couple of weeks have been tough and we knew it was going to be. Seems like in both ballgames every time we would get something going we would shoot ourselves in the foot. One step forward and two steps back and that is so hard to overcome against good football teams like Tug Valley and Tyler Consolidated.”
“… We have to be better on our two point conversions, we left eight points out there tonight and that is simply not good enough. We got a bunch of big plays but can’t punch it in from two or three yards out is really frustrating as a coach.”
“… One thing I can say about this bunch is that will continue to battle and play hard. We knew this was going to be a tough stretch and now we got four games left to see what we are made of. We will get back to work next week and play a Buffalo team that will be hungry when they come here next week.”
