Tolsia Head Coach Brian Stacy

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I was pleased with our defense against Mingo Central. I think they are playing so hard on that end but on the offensive end we are taking quick shots, one pass and a shot or turn it over and it is negated what we do on defense. A lot of points they scored in the first half came off of our offense making it easy on them.”

“… I’m going to use a quote from Ric Morrone and fire our free throw coach. They killed us at the line and that was a huge difference in the game. We made 5 and they made 23, I think. Only made four baskets in the second half.”

“… We came out in the third quarter and played our best period so far of the season and took the lead but just couldn’t finish it off. Really proud of the effort on Miner Mountain.”

“… Against Belfry I thought we played a very good first half but couldn’t get enough stops in the second half to stay in the game.”
