August 7, 1971 — January 16, 2026

Timothy Pack, 54, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 7, 1971 to the late Jennings and Evelyn (Thompson) Pack. Timmy Pack was a man known by many and loved by all. He had a way of showing up for people—no matter the time, no matter the need. If someone needed help, he was there, no questions asked. He would truly do anything for anyone. By trade, he was a heavy equipment operator, but in reality, he was a true jack of all trades. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix, build, or figure out, and he took pride in a hard day’s work. He fought cancer with strength and determination for nearly four years, showing the same grit and stubborn resilience that defined his life. Even through every treatment and setback, he kept pushing forward. He wasn’t one for big speeches or outward emotion, but his love showed through his actions. Loyal, dependable, and strong, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, perseverance, and a life well lived. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Dennis Pack, Paul Pack, Jennings Pack, Jr., and David Pack.
Survivors include his love Marlo Simpkins; children Dalton (Nicole) Pack, Marissa (Derek) Thompson, and Micheal (Ana) Pack; step children Jerrica Davis, Michael (Amanda) Davis, and Chris (Kelsie) Simpkins; grandchildren Nevaeh Pack, Liam Thompson, Lane Thompson, special grandbaby Jessie Smith, Kaiden Pack, and Raylan Pack; step grandchildren Landon McClellan, Zoey McClellan, Gavin Davis, and Colbie Davis; sister Karen (Bo) Meddings; brothers Garland (Vicky) Pack and Randy Pack; sister in law Norma Pack; special friends Claude “Rodgo” Layne, Willis Hundley, Leonard Porter, and Mike Robinette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
The family would like to thank all Timmy’s friends for the help, love, and care over the last few years. Your outpouring of love means so much.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery at Vinson Branch.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Pack and his family.
