A Tennessee man has been extradited back to to Pike County, Kentucky to face charges of rape and incest.
Leonard Dale Baisden Jr., 43, of Kodak, Tennessee, was indicted back in February 2026, and he was arrested on Thursday, April 16, in Somerset, KY., in Pulaski County, and was brought back to Pike County and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville on Sunday, April 26, at 1:15 P.M.
Leonard Baisden is charged with two counts of:
*RAPE, 1ST DEGREE, VICTIM UNDER/12 YEARS OF AGE, one count of:
*RAPE, 1ST DEGREE, VICTIM OVER/12 YEARS OF AGE, two counts of:
*INCEST – WITH PERSON LESS THAN 12 YEARS OF AGE, one count of:
*INCEST – WITH PERSON LESS THAN 18 YEARS OF AGE, one count of:
*SODOMY, FRIST DEGREE, and one count of:
*INTIMIDATING A PARTICIPANT IN LEGAL PROCESS.
The charges against Leonard Baisden are alleged to have taken place between October of 2014 and September of 2023.
The charges of rape and incest of a victim younger than 12 are the most serious, carrying a potential sentence of 20-to-50 years or life in prison.
Leonard Dale Baisden Jr. is being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a $500,000 full cash bond.
