SWEARING-IN CEREMONY FOR LAWRENCE COUNTY ELECTED OFFICIALS TO BE HELD JANUARY 2ND
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony for Elected Officials of Lawrence County, Kentucky on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Circuit Courtroom of the Lawrence County Judicial Center off U.S. 23 at Louisa.
All of our newly elected officials will be taking their oaths of office and a free reception will be held following the ceremony. Please come and be part of the festivities!
I think everyone should show up this day and demand an answer on why Michael Woods is losing his job !! He has done an awesome job as EM director and should be the leader of this group !!
I agree with you. He has done a great job and would have continued to do a great job. It’s just another way politics get in the picture.
The EM Director is a direct appointment of the county judge executive, so is the deputy judge executive. It has nothing to do if someone was doing a good job. The county judge executive has the right according to state law to appoint anyone in these postions as desired.
