On Tuesday June 28, 2022 at 10AM the LC Fiscal Court had a Special Meeting at the downtown courthouse. LC Judge Executive Phil Carter called the Special Meeting to order and the Magistrates present were John Scaggs, Michael (Mouse) Halcomb, Rick Blackburn and David Pinson.

Approved Treasurer to Open New Bank Account – Motion for Sabrina Maynard to open new bank account. No discussion. Motion by Michael (Mouse) Halcomb 2nd by John Scaggs. None opposed.
Approved RV Rate Increase ($30.) – A sewer rate increase of $35 RV Rate at county park will increase. No discussion. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson. None opposed.
Approved Bills – No discussion. Motion by David Pinson 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. None opposed.
Reviewed Administrative Policy – Discussion about employee health Insurance, should employees choose KACo or United Health Care? So, survey was conducted, United Health Care was cheaper with comparable coverage.
Also a code number from 2019 was coded incorrectly so motion will update the code from #20 – #30. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by John Scaggs. None opposed.
Approved Revised Salaries 22/23 – Discussion on 2 mistakes on employee salaries that were misprints. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by John Scaggs. None opposed.
