Bulldog Soccer Seniors

Abby Maynard and Katie Compton

Dakota Thornsbury scored the first goal of the contest with the assist from Amity Runyon. Molly McClanahan put the Dawgs up 2-0 with a goal. Elle Parsley made it 3-0 with an assist from Reagan Webb.

Abby Maynard and Makayla Stinnett had one save each.

The SoccerDawgs ( 4-6-1 ) will be off until next Tuesday September 24th with a trip to Belfry ( 4-6-1 ) and them back at home next Thursday September 26th versus Martin Co. ( 8-3 ).

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Sonny Mynhier

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Katie has grown so much this year as a player and a leader. She can always be counted on to take charge. Shes always guiding the girls on the field and is the main one I count on to keep the girls humble and grateful. She is a great leader and will be for years to come.”

“… Abby is one of the best goalies around, but it’s not only because of her skill. Abby is a force to recken with in many ways. Not only does it take luck to get a ball by her, but she never drops her head or shows discouragement. Her attitude, determination, and leadership is going to take her a long way in life.”
