Small business owner Cassie Muncy held a ribbon cutting ceremony of the reopening of her shop this week.
“Tinleys Purses & More” on 541 S Pocahontas St. Louisa was booming with business before she had to close her doors due to the Covid-19 Virus.
Today she was very excited to reopen her doors to the public. She gave gift bags to the first ten customers and had refreshments for all. She has been having a live online sale every Friday night and sometimes a couple of pop up sales throughout the week.

Cassie’s aunt, another small business owner Shauna Ratliff, has a shop Called “Pretty-In-Bling”, she also has reopened and welcomes everyone to stop by her shop on 3456 Fuller Ridge Rd. in Louisa, Ky. She sells children’s clothing as well as Jewelry and accessories. She has an online site on FB called “Pretty in Bling”.
Cassie’s mother( Patty McCoy Hale) has started an online site selling personalized clothing, mugs, hats, face masks and more. She does vinyl lettering on anything that it will go on such as t-shirts, bookbags, teacups and more. Check out her site on FB called Peanut butter & jelly Designs.
The online businesses have become more popular, and used much more, since the Covid pandemic has started.
“We just have to continue to try to move forward and count our blessings!” Cassie said.
