Update from Lawrence County Sheriffs Office
(12:12 pm.) Please stay at home unless it’s an absolute emergency. Road and Utility crews are still working to clear the roads and restore power throughout the county. If you have an accident first responders may not be able to get to you.
Vehicles left abandoned that congest and block the road will have to be removed at owner’s expense.
Please be safe and stay home as we expect to see conditions worsen later this afternoon.
Update from Lawrence County Judge/Exec. Office
(1:05 pm.) Please be advised that County Roads are still closed at this time. Please do not travel unless it is an emergency or absolute necessary.
Our fantastic road department is out doing what they can to remove the ice we have and pre-treat before the next storm front moves in.
Please be patient. Our boys are working hard. Again, we ask that you please stay in and do not travel. Thank you
