Louisa, Ky. — The 2-0 Lawrence Co. Bulldogs will host the 1-1 Ashland Tomcats on Thursday night in the 2025 Septemberfest Bowl at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium.

Senior QB Luke Fetherolf was named the MVP of the Golden Lion Bowl after his performance last Friday in a 57-30 victory over Garrard County.
Fetherolf was 17-19 passing for 302 yards and 5 touchdowns, he also rushed for 103 yards on 7 attempts and a touchdown.
Sophomore Gray Derifield had a career day receiving with 6 catches for 171 yards and 3 touchdowns, Kaden Johnson caught 4 passes for 69 yards and a touchdown, Carlo Chicko 4 receptions for 40 yards and a TD, Braxton Davis 2 catches for 21 yards and Cavin Williams 1 catch for 1 yard.
The Dawgs rushed for 340 yards and were led by Williams with 147 yards on 11 attempts and a touchdown, Johnson 4 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown, Mitchell Frazier 7 carries for 31 yards and Chandler Preece 7 attempts for 24 yards.

On Defense the Dawgs were led by Chicko with 10 tackles, Kaden Johnson had 8 tackles, Chandler Preece 7 tackles and a forced fumble, Cameron Castle 4 tackles and a fumble recovery, Aiden Patton forced a fumble and Braxton Davis recovered a fumble.
Bulldog Kicker Brayden Queen was 5 of 6 on extra point attempts.

The Tomcats are 1-1 after a 44-23 victory on the road at 6A Tates Creek last Friday night.
Ashland lost to Raceland on a last second field goal 17-14 at home week one.
