With noted influences like Allman Brothers, Free, ZZ Top, Stone Temple Pilots, and Hank Williams Jr., his style is a unique blend of Blues, Rock and Country known to some as Appalachian Rock. His sound is saturated with the feel of the south and intensity of soul and the blues. Having been writing and performing for the last 20-years, Sean has had the privilege to share the stage with such artists as Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Rival Sons, and L.A. Guns.
“All these songs are different phases I’ve gone through,” says Whiting, “It’s a good representation of my many moods, too. I’m learning to let go and finding out who I am finally. This album is me exploring different musical styles and myself.”
This is just the beginning of several events happening in The Garden Theater in the coming year. We will be bringing local performers of high caliber, plays, and theater camps for kids. All this effort is being directed by Kim and Daryl Willard who used to lead the Jenny Wiley Floodlights program.
On Thursday, September 19 at 6:00pm, there will be a reveal party at The Garden Theater to announce all the coming plays for the new performance season.
