LOUISA, KY — After losing their first game of the double elimination Upper bracket of the LOUISA WOMEN”S SOFTBALL tournament, the #2 seed Sandlot Sluggers won 5 games in a row to capture the championship over the #6 seeded Sweet Heat last Friday night in the Louisa Women’s league.

“… Louisa Women’s league is more than just a game of softball, it has a purpose. This purpose fills so many hearts with joy. This league has brought together teammates on the field and family off the field. The purpose of sharing God’s love through the love of softball.”
“… The Women’s league went from six teams the first year to twelve teams this year and hopefully we can grow again next year. We had at least 180 women participate this season.”
