The fourth annual ROCK prom, A Clockwork Ball, was held Friday, April 7th.
This year’s prom was a huge success, the best so far.
****************************
The leadership of ROCK would like to sincerely thank some folks for making our prom possible.
First, praise GOD! It was wonderful, and He deserves all the glory!
Contribution thank you!
…All of the food was made and delivered free of charge by Teresa Jobe. Thank you, so much, Teresa. The donation jars that sat by the food goes to Commissioned Mission, which Teresa does through her church. They do mission trips to Mexico every summer. The Lawrence County Extension Office very generously allowed us to use their facilities. Thank you so much, Nita Ferrell and Caryn Hutchinson McCreary, and anyone else there who allowed this to happen. Thank you for letting us borrow your camera and for being so giving. Jimmy and Jeanette Mills Cantrell allowed us to use their amazing karaoke machine. Jeanette meant to DJ for us, but my sweet husband, Chris Conn, kinda took over on her. Thank you to Chris as well.
Carreen N Chuck Arrington of Hometown Florist in Louisa, Kentucky not only donated flowers, but also allowed us to borrow many gorgeous decorations to make our prom beautiful. Thank you so much! I encourage everyone to give them all your floral business. Thank you so much to Jeri Hall for taking beautiful photographs. I really appreciate it.
Thank you to all those who helped with decorating. Some of you stayed a long time. Virginia, and Madelyn, and Abbigail Heaberlin were there longer than I was. Brandon Perry also was a huge, huge help. Sydney Hale, you were great, thank you not only for helping with decorations but also for volunteering to do makeup and hair.
Thank you to Becky Carter, Racheal Carter, and Madi Short (Michelle Elaine Colegrove) for helping. And, Thank you to Dakota L Vance Tarasen Daniels and Alexandria Renae Wells and Johnathan Compton, and Ethan Fellure, and the MacLean kids (Gianna, John, and Ethan) for all the help with clean up, not only right after the prom, but also the next morning! Thank you to our friends at co-op for helping with the decorations. Thank you to parents who brought drinks. Thank you to Mark Grayson and the Levisa Lazer for allowing me to thank all of these folks.
And to anyone I’ve forgotten, thank you too!
