Robert E. “RD” Debord, 69, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Robert was born May 18, 1956 to the late John and Shirley Debord.
Robert was a member of Louisa Free Will Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. “RD” was a retired coal truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David, sister Anita, and sister-in-law Ruth Ann.
Survivors include his wife Donna Debord; children Patricia (Raymond) Delong and Robin (Willie) Thompson; grandchildren Megan (Chris) Mellert, Darick (Shelly) Boggs, Jamie (Mickayla) Boggs, Jacob (Chasity) Spillman, and Chelsie (Jeremy) Spillman; step grandchildren Kendall Thompson and Brittney Hatfield; great grandchildren Addy, Lexi, Livy, Makenzia, Carson, Myla, and Zachary; siblings Shirley Ann, Jenny (Lester), Anna Sue, Johnny, Jerry (Tammy), Patrick (Lou), Berry, and Juanita; and many special friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses of Three Rivers Medical Center for the wonderful care they provided.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
