Maintenance crews will replace a drainage pipe at mile point 3.13 on KY 1. In order to complete the work, crews will need to cut across the entire roadway to install the new pipe, requiring a full closure at the work site during working hours.

Work Details:

  • Route: KY 1
  • Location: Mile Point 3.13
  • County: Lawrence
  • Date: March 18
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Due to the nature of the repair, all traffic must use an alternate route during working hours while crews complete the pipe installation.

All work is weather dependent, and schedules may change if conditions require adjustments.

KYTC District 12 reminds motorists to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution near work zones as crews work to complete these necessary repairs.
