4.A.1. The county government has begun the dirt removal for high school turf project.
4.A.2. The Local Planning Committee has approved the district facilities plan revisions recommended by the Kentucky Department of Education.
4.A.3. The Eastern Kentucky Elementary Basketball Conference Tournament ended with our Blaine Cheer Team and Louisa East (A,B, and C) teams earning the championship trophies.
4.A.4. The Lawrence County High School girls basketball team won the 2A Sectional Championship and competed in the state competition.
4.A.5. The drafting phase of the Lawrence County Portrait of a Graduate continues.
4.A.6. Central office administration are completing another round of classroom walkthroughs, focusing on questioning techniques and the gradual release model.
4.A.7. Mrs. Brady has been collaborating with Morehead State University officials to establish a future teacher program.
4.A.8. Dr. Fletcher continues to participate in legislative updates/discussions as part of Local Superintendent’s Advisory Council and other opportunities.
4.A.9. Dr. Fletcher will provide an update on the progress in filling the current Board of Education vacancy.
