Reclaiming Recovery Conference | Innovative Addiction Treatment Ideas
Louisa, Ky. (September 16, 2022) — A partnership between The Healing Place (Louisville, Ky.) and Addiction Recovery Care (Louisa, Ky.), aims to bring innovation and progress in addiction treatment. The inaugural Reclaiming Recovery Conference (November 15-16, 2022 at the University of Louisville ShelbyHurst Campus) brings leaders in the field together for a two-day education, networking, and planning event in Louisville, Kentucky.
Organizers expect dozens of the state’s most influential people treating substance use disorders to come together to share ideas, unearth new opportunities, and shape the future of addiction treatment in the Commonwealth.
“We must stay focused on addiction recovery. The problem has gotten worse, and overdose rates are back up,” said Heather Gibson, The Healing Place’s Vice President. “We hope this conference will bring together folks committed to solutions that engage, retain, and sustain recovery for our people who are still out here struggling with addiction.”
The conference allows professionals to attend several breakout sessions and earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
“We want to move the needle forward together,” said Pat Fogarty, Chief Operating Officer at Addiction Recovery Care. “Status quo is not good enough. We must look at best practices across addiction treatment, mold them together, and provide optimal opportunities for long-term recovery for those battling a substance use disorder.”
Early bird registration is open now. Professionals will receive a $50 discount on the registration fee, paying $199 to attend. The special ends Thursday, September 29th, when the registration fee increases to $249.
