COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It’s devastating when you drive up from Tolsia to Belfry. It starts in Crum and goes all the way to Belfry and beyond. To see the damage to people’s homes and their livelihood’s is tough to see.”

“… You know this was a scheduled home game for us but when Logan Scott reached out and told us that they had to cancel their senior night and ask could we help out and come to them one more time this year, It was even up for discussion of course we’ll come it’s the least we could do. So we got the team together and let them know what we were doing and we let them know you can never go wrong helping someone out in need and they were all on board for it. So much more than teaching basketball to these fine young men. We try to prepare them for life and showing them it’s better to give then receive. It ended up being a good road win for us as well. Overall it was great team defensive effort and we played down hill all night looking to get in the lane and get buckets.”

“…Picked up our second road win in two days as we traveled to AAA Lincoln County on Saturday and defeated them on their senior night. Had good balanced scoring from the team. We are just looking to put the pieces together and finish the regular season on a high note and roll into the new season when we start regional play in another week.”

“… Senior leader Bray Mollette told the guys they need to quit thinking that they’re no good and start playing like they know how because we can be a really good team. That’s the stuff you want from your seniors. The guys responded well to it picking up two wins on the road.  So let’s continue to play hard and get after people and see where we end up at.”

“… Finished up the regular season on a three game win streak and now we are headed into regional play.  This is exactly what we needed for the team get few wins under our belt before we start super regional play.  I really think the trip to Indiana helped this team, kinda brought us back together as a team. Me and my staff talked about it last night I think it was the turn around we needed.”

“… We defeated Lincoln County in our last regular season home game. Everyone stepped up and contributed, we came out a little flat the first half but came out after halftime and really started playing hard nose ball. I told them at halftime you can’t let teams hang around that you feel you should beat.”

“… Great minutes from Kyndul Kincaid and Zach Waller coming off the bench the first half. Then in the second half we went to another freshman in Keaton Blackburn who gave us some strong minutes. All in all been a good 3 game win streak and hopefully we can keep the wheels on the bus and keep rolling.”

              LOVE MY REBELS!!!
