COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Good win for us after playing two really good teams last week in Nitro and Lawrence Co. we knew coming in with our personnel we were going to be a young team and these kids are still learning how to put four quarters together. Our motto is quarter by quarter and we are trying to string those together.”
“… We got off to a good start got out in transition and played pretty good defense in the first period. In the second we didn’t and they cut our lead down at half. We are so young and even our seniors don’t have a ton of experience so it takes time.”
“… Our defense was better tonight but not where it needs to be. ACA has some nice players and they play so hard.”
“… This weekend we play Sherman at West Virginia State so that will be pretty cool for the kids to experience that.”
