COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We had some guys who didn’t start tonight for different reasons. I was kinda worried how they would react once they got to go in but they came in and did a good job. They excepted their punishment and did what they were supposed to do. We had people in different positions tonight because of it but I thought they handled it well. Had Robert Evans at the point and did a great job, Cole Blackburn was fantastic tonight with a career high 30 points. Then we put Jayden Booth into the starting lineup and he did a good job as well he has improved so much from the summer until now I would’ve love to had him for four years.”

“… I thought we moved the ball really well tonight and it didn’t get stuck at all. We had all eleven that dressed scored and that is something to be proud of. We started the year with 18 players and now we are down to 11 for various reasons. Zander Parsley started out as the manager and I still have to remind him almost every day that he is not the manager anymore sometimes he doesn’t get in the huddle. For him to score in front of the home folks is pretty special. Levi Allen and Keeton Blackburn hit three pointers and Jay Ransbottom who has been sick knocked down two free throws. I’m tickled to death with all of them.”

“… We played St. Joe early in the year at home and it was close and they pulled away in the end. Played them there and we weren’t full strength and they beat us by eleven points. I think we have got a ton better with some stuff with our team. You can see it we have really came together this last stretch. Coach Maynard will have a good game plan and will as well. It should be a dandy Friday night.”
