Ralph Salmons, 78, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2025 at his home.

Ralph was born November 2, 1946 in Louisa, KY to the late Luther and Louise (Waller) Salmons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 daughters and nephews Bart Salmons and Brad Salmons.

Ralph proudly served his country in Vietnam and was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include his siblings Wilts (Rhonda) Salmons, Michael Salmons, Lawrence Salmons, Ruby Shannon, and Marcella (David) Meade; special niece Tina Ferguson; nieces and nephews Heather Anderson, Jeremy Salmons, Michael Salmons, Jr., Michelle Dunn, Brett (Gina) Salmons, Noah Salmons, Kolton Ferguson, Jacob Ferguson, and Rebecca; caregivers Ruth Johnson and Robin Johnson; and special Itty Bitty Buddies Carli Hampton and Isabella Hampton.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Coty Johnson officiating. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Salmons and his family.
