LOUISA, Ky. — The Louisa East SBDM team has selected Anna W. Prince as the new principal replacing Mary Hall who moved to the BOE offices as director of federal program last month.
“Mrs. Prince’s degrees in both counseling and administration give her a unique perspective in dealing with students. As a teacher, Mrs. Prince has been successful in helping students achieve their potential and has consistently posted high MAP gains,” Lawrence Supt. Dr. Rob Fletcher said. “I fully expect to see the same type of performance as principal.”
Mrs. Prince, a 2001 LCHS grad and Morehead State alumnus seemed eager to get started in a quote sent from the BOE offices. She received a bachelor in elementary education and a master’s degree in school administration at MSU where she also has degrees in special education and school counseling.
This is my 12th year of teaching. My most recent job being a kindergarten teacher at Louisa West Elementary, Mrs. Prince, said. “I am married to James Prince, and we have 2 children. Kailey, 10 and Blake 6.”
“I am very excited to be given the opportunity to serve as Louisa East Elementary principal. I look forward to working with ALL the staff, students, and community to ensure EVERY child reaches their full potential!”
