Chosen Children’s Closet
LOUISA IS ABOUT TO GET A NEW BUSINESS, ONE THAT GIVES OUT IT’S MERCHANDISE FOR FREE
Chosen Children’s Closet is set for their grand opening meet and greet this Saturday from 11-5pm. It is located behind Town Square Bank in the back of the Napa Store.
Corey Longstreth, Andrea Bowen, Lisa Vinson and Amanda Boggs have opened a special program for children in need, especially for Foster Parents who need immediate help.
For many Foster Parents they can receive a call in the middle of the night and not have access to help, Ms. Longstreth said. “This prompted the action for “Chosen Children’s Closet.”
“We noticed a need for simple items such as diapers or clothing and organized the store to help all children in need not just foster children,” Ms. Longstreth said. “We also have resources with the schools for children who are without proper clothing.”
“As foster parents, using the program will help children grow and thrive through simple little things and they will flourish and grow.”
The store’s normal hours are going to be 9-5pm Monday thru Sat. Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
They operate by donations only, no monetary support from organizations at this point..
