New Round of P-EBT cards coming in March
Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer, or better known as P-EBT, provides a stimulus to households with children eligible for free or reduced price school meals through the National School Lunch Program during Covid-19 Response.
Kentucky is providing benefits to households that the students district has a virtual or hybrid learning model. P-EBT payments will begin the week of March 15, 2020. The stimulus payments are issued for past months covering October 2020 through present and will continue through the rest of the school term.
Payments will be $136.40 for each student who receives free lunch which includes all public schools in the state of Ky. Households enrolled in SNAP and have an active EBT card will be issued payments on their existing EBT card.
Households that do not receive SNAP benefits will have payments issued on their existing card or if you’re a first time recipient a P-EBT card will be mailed to you. If you lost your card or need a replacement, contact 1-855-306-8959
