Mrs. Brenda Kay Moore, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at the age of 78.
Brenda was born to parents Joe and Ruth McKenzie on May 14, 1948, in Louisa, KY. She grew up as the only daughter of four children and attended Louisa High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church and managed all the custodial services for First Baptist Church for over 39 years.
Brenda is survived by her brother, Jerry McKenzie (June); her nephews, Mike McKenzie (Sharon), Dave McKenzie (Teresa), Robert McKenzie (Stacey), and Gene McKenzie (Kelly); her nieces, Shirley Ann Keaton (Danny), Brenda McKenzie Howell (Bill), Rachel Powell (Bob), Barbara Jean Moore (Tony); twelve great-nephews and six great-nieces.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Moore, her parents, Joe and Ruth McKenzie, and her brothers, Joey McKenzie and Johnny Mack McKenzie.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with visitation on Thursday June 26th from 6-9 PM and the funeral on Friday June 26th at 11AM. The final resting place will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Louisa, Kentucky.
