Mrs. Anna Prince has served the students of Lawrence County as a teacher, as a principal, and now, as the Director of Personnel and Pupil Personnel. On August 2, Mrs. Prince filled the position left vacant with the retirement of Mr. Vernon Hall.
“Mr. Hall always had a heart for all students, especially those who needed extra supports to be successful,” said Superintendent Fletcher. “While I sincerely appreciate his service, I also look forward to working with Mrs. Prince. She brings a track record of success and a work ethic that will be beneficial to the central office team.”
Mrs. Prince adds, “I am blessed to serve the students and staff of Lawrence County Schools. I look forward to assisting personnel as they continue their education journey.”
Mrs. Anna Prince is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence County High School and a Morehead State alum. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a master’s degree in school administration, and other degrees/endorsements in special education, school counseling, and pupil personnel. Her 16 years in education have included teaching positions at Blaine, Paintsville, and Louisa West Elementaries as well as leading the staff of Louisa East Elementary as principal. Mrs. Prince is married to Mr. James Prince, and they have two children–Kailey and Blake.
