Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Middle school soccer improved to 5-1-1 on the season with a 2-0 victory over Martin Co. middle at home on Thursday night.
Soccer Dawg 8th Graders
Jasmine Justice scored the first goal and was assisted by Brylee Blair. Blair made it 2-0 with a goal that was assisted by Ashlynn Elliott.
Kaison Ward was in goal for her 6th shutout of the season.
2018 Lawrence Co. Middle school soccer team
This season the SoccerDawgs have beaten Ashland 1-0, East Carter twice by the score of 3-0 both games, Johnson Central 4-0 and lost to Martin Co. on penalty kicks. The tie came against Ashland on Tuesday in a great game 0-0.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“…A little over half way through the season and the team is playing excellent team soccer. We have played 7 games and only allowed 1 goal in regular time and ended up in a tie before that game went into a penalty shootout and eventually losing 2-1 against Martin Co.”
“… Our next home game is Monday 4/23 against Russell and will decide our seeding for the district tournament. We have a really good chance of bringing the championship back to LC.”
