THREE DRUG POSSESSION AMIGOS: LUCILLE L. MILLS, 47, OF WARFIELD, KY., BILL SPAULDING, 49, OF KERMIT, W.VA., & ALLEN K. BREWER, 45, OF KERMIT, W.VA., WHO WAS ALSO WANTED ON A FUGITIVE WARRANT AND TWO COURT BENCH WARRANTS.

A Martin County, Kentucky woman and two Mingo County, West Virginia men were arrested yesterday on drug charges by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office after receiving an anonymous call.

According to the MCSO deputies arrested three individuals on drug charges Tuesday afternoon, January 30, at the Dempsey Housing area in Warfield, KY.

The deputies went to the location after receiving an anonymous narcotics trafficking tip and information that a suspect with several active warrants was at the residence.

Upon all three deputies’ arrival, they went to speak to the homeowner, Lucille L. Mills, 47, who said that there were no drugs on the premises and that nothing was happening involving drug activity.

The investigation uncovered methamphetamine, suboxone, unidentified pills and drug paraphernalia.

The deputies arrested Lucille Mills, along with two men, Bill Spaulding, 49, and Allen K. Brewer, 45. both of Kermit, West Virginia.

The three are charged with the following:

Lucille L. Mills was charge with:

  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Bill Spaulding was charged with:

  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Allen K. Brewer was charged with:

  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED,
  • SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

All three of three drug trio members were later transported to and lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., in Johnson County. Lucille Mills and Bill Spaulding have posted their bonds and have since been released from the jail, while Allen Brewer remains incarcerated in the BSRDC as of Wednesday afternoon, January 31.
