Martin County issued indictments on August 3rd including several bail jumping charges.
Commonwealth vs. Ersel Crum Jr.
The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 16, 2023 in Martin County, Ky, the above named defendant:
1. Ersel Crum committed the offense of burglary in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering the dwelling house of Betty Harris of Inez, Ky with the intent therein to commit the crime of assault.
1. Jeremy Howell committed the offense of receiving stolen property under $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of two oxygen and seven acetylene tanks stolen from Inez Power (Paul Meade Jr.) with an approximate value of $3329.
2. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.
1. Jackie Blackburn committed the offense of criminal mischief in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully damaging a gap pump located at Zip Zone Gas Station of Lovely, Ky with the damages to the gas pump exceeding $1000.
1. James Muncy committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court with or without bail, upon condition that he/she will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge.
1. Christopher Marcum committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court with or without bail, upon condition that he/she will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge.
