Carl Daniels and Carl Daniels Junior were stopped on 201 south in Blaine for not having a valid license plate. Investigation revealed Daniels, Jr. didn’t have a valid drivers license or insurance.
Inside their vehicle was multiple items that belonged to a person who had a residence on Muddy Branch, which they both said they just left from. They admitted taking the items without the owner’s knowledge or consent.
In addition to the stolen items, there was drug paraphernalia found inside. Both individuals were lodged at the BSRDC.
The arrest was made by D.I.C.E. member District 3 Constable Daniel Castle.
“After I pulled him over for a bad license, I noticed a lot of women’s jewelry and household items in the vehicle, it looked unusual to me so I started asking questions,” Castle said. “One thing led to another and I found out they took the items from a property on Muddy Branch.”
Few things in life are sadder than seeing a parent and their child doing bad things together.
Yeah, that’s sad.
Good job Mr. Castle. You are relentless in your efforts to stop crime.
