Charlie E. Jude Jr., 45, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on October 20, 2020, at 10:45 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

According to the arrest report citation, Deputy David Adams wrote that while he was serving a bench warrant on Charlie Jude Jr., he located five yellow oval-shaped pills in a cigarette wrapper in Jude’s watch pocket. On one side of the one of the pills there was a “V”,, and on the other side there was a “36/101”. Poison Control advised deputy Adams that it was hydrocodone 10 mg with 325 mg acetaminophen.
Logan Allen, 25, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2020, at 12:32 A.M.,by deputy David Adams,of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

William D. Patrick, 29, of Warfield , Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2020, at 4:57 P.M., by Constable James Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

According to the arrest report citation, Constable James Prad Preece wrote that he observed William Patrick coming out of Gordon Hollow and almost hitting a vehicle.
Melinda Marie Mullins, 29, of Wayne, West Virginia; was arrested on October 21, 2020, at 8:10 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• GIVING OFFICER FALSE IDENTIFYING INFORMATION,
• POSSESSION A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,

According to the arrest report citation, deputy David Adams wrote that while serving a bench warrant on Melinda Marie Mullins, he asked her if she had anything on her. Mullins advised deputy Adams that she had some fake fingernails and makeup in her bra.
Deputy David Adams further wrote that when Melinda Marie Mullins retrieved the items from her bra and placed them on the hood of his police cruiser. When Mullins placed the items on the hood, deputy Adams noticed that the barcodes were torn off the items. Deputy Adams asked Marie Mullins where she got the items from, she told him that got the items from the Dollar General store in Warfield; deputy Adams stated in the report.
Deputy Adams went to the Dollar General and he was advised that Marie Mullins had just left and did not pay for the items. Melinda Marie Mullins admitted to stealing the items that came to the amount of $22.26. Deputy Adams wrote that Melinda Marie Mullins had four orange capsules that Poison Control advised him were 400mg gabapentin.
“Melinda Marie Mullins lied about her date of birth, saying it was 11/24/1995; and also lied about her name, saying that it was Peggy Mullins,” deputy Adams finished in his report.
Robert R. Whitt, 40, of Adams, Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2020, at 10:30 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

Elmer B. Dalton, 48, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 22, 2020, at 4:26 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL (189A.010(1B) – 2ND OFFENSE,
• RECKLESS DRIVING,
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE.
According to the arrest report citation, deputy Lafferty wrote that he observed Elmer Dalton coming around a curve at the mouth of Route 2032 on deputy Lafferty’s side of the road and about hitting him head-on. Deputy Lafferty turned and followed Elmer Dalton for about a half a mile and observed Elmer Dalton almost hitting two other vehicles. Deputy Lafferty wrote that eventually stopped Elmer Dalton, and upon making contact with Dalton, he noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Deputy Lafferty further wrote that there was an empty beer can on the passenger side floor, one open beer can in the cup holder, and one full opened case of beer covered with clothes in the back seat.
Angelia Fannin, 27, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on October 22, 2020, at 7:16 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Rowland Babb, 29, of Canton, Ohio; was arrested at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy, in Debord, on October 23 2020, at 12:26 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty,of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

Delbert D. Muncy, 78, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 3:29 P.M.,by Constable James Brad Preece,of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).
According to the arrest report citation, Constable James Brad Preece wrote that he was called over a property dispute and that Delbert Muncy had a gun in his pocket. Constable Preece arrived on the scene and spoke with Delbert Muncy. The property owner and Delbert Muncy started exchanging words, Delbert Muncy grabbed the homeowner, and the homeowner hit Delbert Muncy on the jaw.
William H Marcum, 43, of Wailliamson, West Virginia; was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 9:54 P.M., by deputy David Adams,of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

According to the arrest report citation, Deputy David Adams wrote that William Marcum was a passenger in a vehicle in which he and another passenger were passed out. When William Marcum awoke, he had slurred speech and could barely talk. When deputy Adams asked William Marcum to step out of the vehicle, Marcum dropped a clear bag containery a powdery substance.
“When I asked (William Marcum), what was in the bag, Marcum advised me that it was fentanyl,” deputy Adams wrote in the finish of the arrest citation
Jessica M. Adkins, 24, of Williamson, West Virginia; was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 9:54 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

According to the arrest report citation, Deputy David Adams wrote that Jessica Adkins was a passenger in a vehicle in which she and another passenger were passed out. When Jessica Adkins awoke, she had slurred speech and could barely talk.

According to the arrest report citation, Sheriff John Kirk wrote that Abigail Tiller was a passenger in a vehicle in which the driver was arrested for DUI. Sheriff Kirk wrote that Abigail Tiller had a strong odor of alcohol beverage about her, and she admitted that she had drunk beer, even though she was not at the legal age to consume alcohol, Sheriff Kirk finished writing in his arrest citation.
Albert Joshua Deskins, 29, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on October 25, 2020, at 7:22 A.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

According to the arrest report citation, Sheriff John Kirk wrote that he stopped to check a vehicle at Evans Hill, when Albert Deskins rolled the vehicle windows down, Sheriff Kirk wrote that he could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. Albert Deskins admitted he had been drinking. Albert Deskins failed a field sobriety test, had glassy eyes, and slurred speech.

According to the arrest report citation, Constable James Brad Preece wrote that he received a complaint of a male subject (Matthew Daniels) at his aunt’s house who had gone into a couple of her buildings and was pounding on their doors. When Constable Preece arrived at the scene, he wrote that Matthew Daniels ran across the road to another residence and was sitting on the porch. The homeowner advised Constable Preece that Matthew Daniels did not have permission to be on the property.
