NAUGHTY GIRL? ALEXANDRIA MICHELLE BALL, 28, OF LOUISA (PHOTO TAKEN AT BOYD COUNTY DETENTION CENTER ON APRIL 20, 2020); WAS ARRESTED ON MARCH 7, AFTER RUNNING FROM POLICE BY VEHICLE AND ON FOOT, AND ENDED UP WITH BEING CHARGED WITH BRIBERY AFTER OFFERING A DEPUTY AN “ORAL FAVOR” FOR HER RELEASE WHILE WHILE HE WAS GUARDING HER AT THE HOSPITAL..
A Louisa woman remains in jail custody after she crashed her vehicle into a Boyd County Sheriff’s deputy cruiser, then running away on foot, and then offering to turn a “trick” for a deputy to get out of jail, according to Boyd County court documents.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 7, Boyd County court records reported a Boyd County Sheriff Department deputy spotted a black 2003 Dodge Dakota pull out of a trailer court on Shopes Creek Road with improper lights and swerving all over the road.
The deputy hit the lights after the pickup truck busted a hard left onto U.S. 60, before hanging a right onto Booth Quillen Road, according to the court records.
The truck, in turn, pulled onto U.S. 60 and sped up toward Ashland, records show. After calling for officer backup, the deputy pursued the truck, as the citation report states the truck hung a U-turn in front of the Big Sandy SuperStore and headed back in the direction of Shopes Creek Road.
When the police chase made its way back onto Shopes Creek Road, court records stated another Boyd County Sheriff Department deputy tried to pass the suspect in order to warn motorists up ahead of the pursuit.
That’s when deputies stated the suspect swerved into the second deputy, striking his passenger side. Court records note while the cruiser incurred a good bit of damage, the deputy reported he was unharmed.
The truck lost control and wound up in a ditch, court records stated.
Alexandria Michelle Ball, 28, of Louisa, jumped out of the Dakota and made a run for it, according to deputies. The two deputies took off after Ball, who ran behind a baseball field, according to the court records.
Alexandria Ball then tripped, falling down hard and ate dirt, the arrest citation stated.
The Boyd County deputies ordered Alexandria Ball to remain on the ground, but she was ever persistent, as Ms. Ballt tried to get up and run again, the citation states. After one deputy used a Taser on her, Alexandria Ball was taken into custody, arrest records show.
Alexandria Ball stated to both two deputies that she was in pain and needed an ambulance, the arrest records show.
Following Alexandria Ball’s arrest, deputies took her to King’s Daughters Medical Center for treatment and clearance.
The arresting deputy was relieved of guarding over her at the hospital in order to finish up the paperwork on the chase case, arrest records reported.
After getting medical clearance to go to the Boyd County Detention Center, another citation states Alexandria Ball asked the next deputy if there was any way he could just write her a citation and let her go.
“I responded by telling the above subject, no, she was going to jail, to which the above subject stated, ‘there is no amount of money or a blow job that could change my mind and let her go,’” the deputy wrote in his arrest citation.
That offer constituted a bribe, according to court records. The deputy informed a superior about the offer, then wrote up a whole new citation charging her with such, records show.
After finishing his paperwork, the deputy took Ball to the intake of the jail, where she made one last-ditch effort for freedom by running again, records show.
Alexandria Ball didn’t get very far, as she is currently in the Boyd County Detention Center on charges of second-degree escape, bribery, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree flight, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon (deputies said they found a gun in the truck), first-degree criminal mischief, first-offense DUI, resisting arrest and two traffic violations.
Alexandria Ball is no stranger to jail, either. Court records showed she was arrested nearly a dozen times, and several trips to county joints in the past 10+ years; just after turning 18, getting nabbed in Lawrence, Boyd, Johnson, and Morgan counties. She also served a brief stint in a Ky. state prison a few years ago.
Most of those arrests involved shoplifting or theft by Alexandria M. Ball, including two separate arrests involving switching price tags on items at Walmart to get a lower price, records show. Another involved her allegedly supplying a false name to police.
Alexandria Michelle Ball remains held in jail custody on no bond.
The Levisa Lazer should really look into some sort of proof-reading software. Or hire someone to proof read. Or maybe even just go back and reread what you wrote at least once before you publish it.
Just to let everyone k ow Alley Ball did NOT offer sexual favors for only a ticket being issued. She said Oh who do u have to know or blow in this town to only get a ticket! Then they shot and killed her little yorkie Gidget and claimed there was never a dog there. I hate when so called peace keepers wear there badge as a crown…
