Logan White, with the US Army Corps of Engineers, was our guest speaker at Louisa Rotary on April 9th. Logan gave a very informative talk on the construction of Yatesville dam for flood control, while also highlighting the recreational opportunities it provides.
He explained that Yatesville Lake’s water quality is assessed by testing the water, insects, and fish populations. Based on the testing, he noted that our lake water is of very good quality. Yatesville Lake State Park is a great asset to our community.
