The Louisa Rotary Club held its weekly meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5 at the First Baptist Church Cafe.

Members were pleased to welcome Kim Willard from the Mountain Movers Theatre Company. Kim shared exciting updates on upcoming productions and spoke about the dedication, discipline, and teamwork required of the young performers involved in each show.

One highlight is the upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet, which opens on Thursday, February 12th, and features a special dinner theatre performance.

The club also discussed several events coming up in the next few months. These include a golf tournament scheduled for April 25th, a luncheon for high school seniors in May and the annual farmer’s banquet.

In addition, members are in the early planning stages of hosting an international dinner, which promises to be a unique and engaging community event.
