On Thursday June 9, 2022 the Louisa Rotary Club had a regular scheduled meeting at First Baptist Church from 12-1 PM. President Patton R. Hart started the meeting with Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, The Four-Way Test and Rotary song. Hart then asked if anyone had guests and attending Rotary: Sarah Deal, LC Cooperative Extension Service Family Consumer Science Agent, and Rep. Annie Adkins Johnson from Aspire Conservatory located at Louisa United Methodist Church on Town Hill Road, Louisa.
Louisa Rotary President Patton R Hart then called on Rotary Program Chair Harold Slone who is Mayor of Louisa, Kentucky.
Slone introduced Cody Napier, who holds the titles of Mr. Fort Gay, Mr. Lawrence County and Mr. Cincinnati. Cody Napier is from Fort Gay, WV where he resides. He is also employed by the City of Louisa.
Napier is a Personal Trainer for Body Building, Online Coach and Trainer, Actor and Musician for 20 years of his life.
He said he was very regimented in his diet containing proteins, fiber and low calories for 16 straight weeks, while training for any competition.
“You need to commit to a goal of health and fitness and not go overboard, keep your pace moderate,” Napier told Rotary. Napier spoke of the gracious residents in Lawrence County that helped him in achieving his goals.
“Surround yourself with good people and believe in yourself and you can accomplish all things that will lead you to your goal,” Napier said. “I love a challenge, if it was easy everybody would do it!”

Next week Thursday June 16, 2022 The Rotary Meeting will honor Class of 2022 LCHS Senior scholarship recipients for youth day and Ginger Copley will be Program Chair.
