On March 26th the Louisa Rotary Club visited LCHS and had the privilege of having lunch catered by the Culinary Class. A delicious meal of chicken Alfredo, baked spaghetti, caprese salad and desserts were served by the students. Janie Marcum, the culinary instructor, is also a member of our Rotary Club.
After lunch Rotarians visited all the vocational classrooms, learning what students are being taught for further career options. Each room we visited revealed how many opportunities and career paths are being offered in Lawrence County Schools. Rotarians had a wonderful afternoon interacting with teachers and students.
