LOUISA POLICE NAB THREE WANTED DRUG SUSPECTS DURING TRAFFIC STOP

During the evening of September 25th, 2025 Ptl. Taylor observed a vehicle being driven by Brian Wolford with whom had an active Lawrence County Warrant. A traffic stop was conducted to arrest Mr. Wolford.

During the stop Chief Wilburn observed occupants of the vehicle making furtive movements as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. It was discovered that a second occupant, Elizabeth Green was in the back seat trying to conceal her identify. Green also had an active Lawrence County indictment warrant and was placed under arrest.

During the execution of the arrest of Green she attempted to hide and destroy suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Officers located over 12 grams of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, pills, marijuana, and cash along with various other drug paraphernalia items associated with drug trafficking and drug use.

Wolford, Green and a 3rd occupant, Jasmine Bond, were all arrested and lodged at Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in relation to complicty to trafficking heroin along with various other drug related charges.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
