Louisa, Ky. — The Louisa middle school football team remained undefeated after a 32-0 victory over Betsy Layne in the second round of the playoffs on Tuesday.

With the win over the Bobcats the Dawgs captured the EKMC North Division Championship.

The Dawgs are 10-0 on the season and have only gave up 16 points on defense and scored 368 points offensively.

The Bulldogs will play for the EKMC title on Saturday at 2:00 against undefeated South Division Champion Letcher Co. Central at Magoffin County high school.

Bulldog Head Coach Ed Chicko

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Our boys were locked in from the moment they stepped on the field. We had a game plan, and they executed it perfectly.”

“…That wasn’t an easy team to beat. They’ve got a strong running back who’s played great all season.”

“… We’re not taking Saturday’s game lightly. To come out on top, we’ll need to play our best football of the season.”
